View from the cart: On Isla Mujeres, you can rent a golf cart for the day and drive around on the island. Highly recommended as a good way to see the island. The island is the perfect size for sightseeing this way. Here, we were at Playa Norte which is the best known beach on the island. Funny cart story: The island is dotted with sizable speed bumps known as topes. While driving back downtown, we were looking at houses and did not notice a particular tope. I managed to launch the golf cart with all four wheels in the air much to the amusement of a homeowner who was watching us drive by.
